Nowadays, companies have very special needs and requirements concerning complete automated document processing. By integrating solution packages based on IRISXtract™ for Documents into the mailroom and document recognition process specific solutions can be combined:
- Sorting and forwarding incoming mail (Digital Mailroom)
- Capturing hand-written fields within structured documents (forms)
- Processing documents in a business process within a workflow (invoices, orders, delivery notes etc.)
Document classification and data extraction for storage purposes within a document management system for the purpose of a record solution or for triggering business process specific extraction solutions through the classification results
A software suite is efficient when all these requirements and needs are fulfilled with only one installation. This presupposes operating the “all-in-one“-platform IRISXtract™ for Documents.
Thanks to the constituent wise structure of the system it is individually configurable regarding required functionalities on the one hand and individually scalable regarding the volume which has to be processed on the other hand. Depending on the functionality requirements different technologies can be added, e.g.
In addition to the basic components like Import, Export, Analyze, Verify (incl. web based Verify), Scanclient and system management (administration) this also holds for e.g.
- XMailFetcher & XFileSystem
The XMailFetcher is able to convert all incoming e-mails and to transfer them into to the IRISXtract™ for Documents system for automatic recognition and further processing. - Process data base and statistics
We have equipped IRISXtract™ for Documents with a new very efficient statistical concept. An extensive live-monitoring, tracking & tracing and reporting of the production processes is therefore possible. - Solution Designer
The Solution Designer offers a high-level environment for the configuration and customization of form and free form solutions for classification and indexing. The extensive graphical user interfaces allow editing the project configuration that are centrally imported into the IRISXtract™ for Documents system and are automatically distributed afterwards.
